Hi, new to the forum....thought I'd better introduce myself as I've dropped a couple of posts already. I'm Peter, from Sydney, Australia, as the thread title says.  big_smile  I'm in my 40's, play guitar.......an enthusiastic amatuer........love rock and blues, and Joe's playing and music, obviously. Saw him play at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney last night and it was one of the best shows I have seen. Given my birthday was the day before, this was a nice present to myself. I don't know if Joe himself will read this, but I'd like to give a big thanks for him doing Midnight Blues in his gig, as I'm a big Gary Moore fan as well and never got to see him play, and that, unfortunately, will never happen now, so thanks Joe.

Welcome Aqualung, my friend.  Nice posts so far.  Way to not start away uneasy!  Good gear posts attract Joe's attention like moths to a flame.  He does read others, but maybe not the Introductions.  On behalf of the welcoming committee here, you'll be in stittin' plush if you hang around this town.  smile

Welcome Aqualung - is that a diving connection or Ian anderson? If it's diving I'm heading to Brisbane is September, maybe we could hook up for a dive!

It's a Jethro Tull thing Geoff, I've never been diving. With my poor eyesight and limitied aquatic abilities it's probably for the best.  smile

Thanks for your great posts throughout the forum too - good to see a lot of new users on here now during this Oz tour.  Really adds to the community feel of this board.

BTW - I used to play cricket with an Asian chap here called Tim Lung...his on field nickname was 'Aqua'...  lol
