Topic: NGD: Telecaster Content

So...here she is. A Bluesman Vintage 51/52 Telecaster.

Some specs:
Based on a 50's Telecaster
Hefty "C" shape neck
David Allen "Vintage Hot" Pickups
CTS Pots
Relic'd
Two piece pine body
One piece maple neck
NOS Capacitor

Enjoy! The Classic Vibe Tele will probably sold to fund another "custom" telecaster. Some highlights..double bound, lake placid blue, P90 in the neck, rosewood board. wink The CV was great, it's just that when you're a Tele guy and your only Tele is a Squier, I felt like I needed to step it up a little bit.

Yeah, it's super cool. It has the vintage vibe and I don't feel to bad about playing in out and getting a small ding or two. It already has plenty!  lol

The David Allen Pickups sound superb. Very balanced Tele tone. Not ice picky, very smooth and woody.

How old is the pine?  How does it sound compaired to Ash?  I think its a sweet looking tele, love to hear some sound clips!

I didn't advance obviously, but it's just fun to get up there. Got 3rd of 6 according to scores I guess. Top 2 move on. Not like I'm heart broken, it's my first year competing.

Really takes the point out of music anyway competing that is.  I never got into that.  How can you put a score on something heart felt?

Exactly. I was up there primarily to have fun, and to get out of my comfort zone of being the lone ranger 'on stage.'

If I would have moved on to the finals, cool. There are way better guys I saw in previous weeks that will move on past the store.
