I'm sorry if this has been brought up before, but I know othet artists have had themed cruises.  It would be a great way to have a great exprience with Joe and the.guys.....and his fans.

That would be great.I want to say I remember Joe being on a blues cruise 4-5 years ago.I think it may not make sense from a money standpoint these days.

your probably right about the $ part but it would be fun.

Re: A Joe cruise.....how about it????

I think Joe and his band did one of those a few years ago. Reports were that it was stormy and rough, everyone got seasick and Joe swore to never do one again. Some of the old line fans can fill in the details.

I'm in! Lol. I know Joe was on one of the blues cruises, but don't recall anything about everyone getting seasick. Cathy, am I hallucinating or were you on that cruise?

Re: A Joe cruise.....how about it????

I'd rather see Joe do a run of shows at a specific venue.

It was the January 2006 Rhythm and Blues Cruise that Joe was on. I think some of the other artists were perhaps a bit intimidated by Joe. Another problem for Joe at the time was that it was just after the breakup with Eric and Kenny so the new guys, Mark Epstein and temporary drummer Randy Cooke, didn't know a lot of his material. I don't remember all the details, and it took place before this forum's format was in place so we can't search it. I think Cathy Siler may have been on that cruise?

Re: A Joe cruise.....how about it????

If I recall a conversation correctly, I don't think Joe is very fond of the water.

Right you are Patty, I heard the same thing from Joe myself. It'll be a cold day in hell before Joe hits the high seas again.
