Topic: Hard Rock Calling, anyone going??

Hi Guys,

Just wondered if any of you are off to Hard Rock Calling, Im off to see Jovi on the Sat night (okay I know someone has to be a fan), heres hoping Sambora will be back.  Ray Davies should be good and hopefully they might have some more great bands.

Heard there is 3 stages so there should be some good music.

a hearty Welcome to the forum Jay from down south. Where is the Hard Rock thing to be held? this is a very tolerant forum, many different music styles are posted, but I have to tell you honestly that Bon Jovi fans here are few and far between. What parts are you from, how did you get into Joe's music? Stick around and post often, "fun family on board". Good to have you.

You gotta admit that Slippery Than Wet was a dang good album as far as 80s stuff goes. Living On A Prayer, You Give Love A Bad Name, and Wanted Dead Or Alive are kicking songs.

Slippery When Wet there Deez, but I was going through a jazz phase and really could not stand those songs. It was a huge release and made a lot of money, pretty much put them on the map for that time. and you can say that they have endured, always a good thing. No, I don't think Richie will be back quickly, he will be getting familiar with the big book and the 12/12, one day at a time there buddy.

Hi  Tres, thanks for the welcome.  Hard rock is on in London on the 24.25.26 June in Hyde Park, can only get to the Sat night show, but it should be pretty good.  Im from Gillingham in Dorset, and I am a fairly new JB fan.  A friend leant me Live from Nowhere in Particular, and there was just something about that cd that took hold, so it was off to the shops to buy a few albums, hooked ever since.  Saw him at Bournemouth a couple of years ago and again last year at Shepherds Bush with BCC, trying to see him again this year, but funds went on a Marshall Class 5, so hoping the Birthday fairy will be generous LOL big_smile

Cheers

Ah Yes the album that got me hooked on Jovi, great songs all of them above, and I also like Raise your Hands.
