I didn't mean to steal Pete's thread for my friend Rick but was tickled we shared the same BDay. I had a nice lunch with my Sister and Niece but both my Wife and Son forgot my Birthday. Paybacks will be swift.......Lol!

Hi Sandy,
So far all I've done is give 'em the silent treatment. I doubt it'll escalate further than that though because I love them too much.
As for my gifts, well I got an external hard drive for my computer, but I bought that myself. The real gift I got though was when someone touched my right shoulder yesterday morning. At the time I was beginning to wonder if everyone had forgotten about me and I was getting a little down. That's when I felt it and immediately knew it was my Mother's spirit. That's the third time this has happened in the last couple years. Both my Wife and I believe this is my Guardian Angel and that it's Mom. I know some will think I'm silly, but that's what we feel.

I've experienced the same with my mother's spirit Curby, more than once. Also, the first time I celebrated my (our) birthday without her, I dreamed about her the night before and woke up so happy, feeling like we had had a really long visit, and it felt so real!
