I had a different kind of Easter, which turned out to be really special!  I had a bunch of family here, but I had to plan eating around 3 sporting events: The 76ers and the Flyers were facing elimination in a playoff series, so it was a much watch event and then the Phillies were overlapping the Flyers and were possibly going to 4 game sweep the San Diego Padres, so that was a must watch too!  (Sorry Rick-remember where I'm coming from-the Phillies hold the record for the longest losing streak EVER!!!) 

All 3 Philadelphia sports teams won, so even though I set up everything real nice in the dining room, we were only in there very briefly.

2 of my 3 children were home on an Easter break, but my oldest was swamped with work...finals are next week. It felt really strange for the first holiday for one of my kids to be missing, so when everyone left, my husband and I made the hour ride to his school and brought him a nice home cooked meal.  We just found out he is going to be getting some awards at his college graduation including The Physics Award for being the top student, so we wanted to deliver the letter, which was mailed to the home address. Science students work really, really hard...
