Thanks ya'll for turning me on to Wildwood guitars. I am now the proud owner of a 2009 VOS 57 Goldtop, the guitar I have always wanted.

Re: Wildwood Guitars

Congrats and enjoy!

Re: Wildwood Guitars

I love those guys.  I've never bought anything from them but every day I look at the new arrivals and dream for a minute.

Re: Wildwood Guitars

Thanks guys, I'm looking forward to getting my hands on this guitar. I do have nothing but good things to say about the folks at Wildwood, if you want a high end guitar, at a fair price, these are the people.

Re: Wildwood Guitars

Congrats! Nice gold top.

It doesn't matter who you talk with at Wildwood. They're all very nice, very helpful and will work with you to get you the guitar you want.

Re: Wildwood Guitars

Congrats!  Gibson Historics are GREAT guitars!

Would that go for new guitars as well?

You need to check out the website. They have some smokin' nice guitars. They also know times are hard and will work with the price the best they can.

Re: Wildwood Guitars

Thanks Kev! I love them both. My Strat is not a Custom Shop though. The Lester is in the shop at the moment for a string change. I took the stock 11s off and slapped some 9s on it last night because I love them on my Strat. Big mistake! The results were just awful! I had no idea the difference in scale would play such a role in playability string-wise. My tech is putting EB Slinky 10s on it for me. Should be ready on Thursday. I love tinkering, but I'll leave my truss rod and intonation to the pros especially since it cost me a small fortune and I would cry if I messed up the neck!

Just a note to let you know  it arrived today in perfect shape.  I love the Goldtops, really love this R7. I think I'm gonna sell my artisan and buy me another 50s thick necked  Les Paul.
