Yeah the same guitar Paul Reed Smith tried to take out of my hands... I thought it was Dave my tech cause the guitar was out of tune.... then I was like WTF??? Bless you tube for preserving all our fine moments for all to see.

Hey guys,
It is indeed my old 68... After a long time with it I decided it may be time to let it go to a better home.. I traded it back in Feb for a couple of killer guitars that I am playing at the moment.. Its the Les Paul I used on "A New Day Yesterday" both the album and the song..Its a really strong guitar and I loved it for a long time but honestly with the 59 its hard to play anything else.. So I hope it finds a good new home. I am happy with the 295 and red 355.. I look forward to giving them a loving welcome to the flock..

Fun looking at the bidding. A new one just jumped in with an hour or so to go. Near $15 k and looks to go towards 20!

Yes, on another thread, Joe mentioned that he was not a big fan of P-90s. That's why I posted earlier in this thread that I thought Joe couldn't say too much about this guitar as it could be misconstrued as being negative etc.
Doesn't look like that has affected the bidding any though...

I don't care for them myself and apparently someone else didn't because by late 1956 they replaced them with buckers.

I wonder what the two guitars traded for this were worth. I saw the 53 gold archtop and it was immaculate. Heck of a price though.

Hmmmm, guitar or car. What to do? Must be nice to have that much "play" money. Of course, I just finished explaining to my wife how the Flying V litho was an investment.
