Topic: What are the chances...

....of a run of '59 reissues modelled after Joe's? what do we think?

Being in the UK I'd have to sell parts of my body to afford one (A used aged Goldtop is on sale over here at 3800 GBP!) but if theres any remote chance of one I'll have to start ferretting the dough away! Its either that or a PRS McCarty soapbar.......no good can come of that!  big_smile

Re: What are the chances...

You should have added, a 'Hell Yea, If I can afford it!' option.

People on other forums have begun to say that Joe is getting like Slash in terms of sig. gear.....

&%*# them....

Re: What are the chances...

Yeah the prices of signature gear are ridiculous

Re: What are the chances...

I guess I'm the only one with small kids to feed.  tongue  If I had the money I'd buy 2 one for me and one for my 3 yr old guitar buddy.

I'd gladly go without (again) if I could go back to when my two boys were 3 years old. Time goes by much too fast. Enjoy every moment you can with them!!!

Isn't it against the law to subject a child to a Strat?

Beautiful son....OK....pretty good lookin' Strat.  Hope he let's you play it once and a while.

Excellent!!!

My grandson is now "playing" with a Strat I gave my son years ago.

Re: What are the chances...

I was one of the fortunate ones who got an Epiphone signature goldtop model.  That pretty much takes care of my humbucking needs for the immediate future (I'm more of a single-coil kinda guy).  At some point down the road, I'll probably get the Epi version of Joe's Flying V and drop some Gibson '57s in it, but other than that, I'm all good right now!    wink

I'll never be good enough to justify dropping $3-4K on a single instrument...

Well you'll have to check local laws in your area but I think as long as I don't make him stand up with it to play right now he's ok.  I let him try a Les Paul but you know how kids are they wanna be just like daddy  cool
