Topic: Hello from Southern Ontario

Hello; I've been lurking on the site for the last month or so,just took in my first Joe show in Toronto where we met Joe and the band. Thought it would be a good time to say hello as I am now a Lifelong Joe Bonamassa Fan. Cheers everyone!

Re: Hello from Southern Ontario

Another welcome post unanswered!

Goddamm, but s*** happens. Lots going on, what with new releases, threats to the forum, reviews, and well, you name it.

I've not been active in intro's for a while, which is kind of unforgiveable in a way, as I myself was so handsomely welcomed back in errrr, whenever it was.

Still not too late. Welcome spdracer. Whats does that stand for? any hidden meaning there.? Autoracing fan? Always a lively F1 debate to be found in 'Other topics'.

You've 'lurked' so you know the form. We know a bit, but tell us how you found Joe. Recommendation, luck, commercial, radio airplay? How was that first show. Jaw back in place yet? We've all been there and most have met him and shared a few words. I mean, how often can you say that about a performer?

If you can and will, join in. Post. There are friends here, likeminded. It is not overly lovey dovey. We like debate and opinion, so if you've got one then here is a place you can share it on a wide platform of subject matter.

If you are musician, then 'Joe's equipment' is gearhead nirvana. Joe is active in there himself. Tips and road tales to be had.

Enjoy and see you around

Thanks Mikeh,Suprisingly enough I just discovered Joe about 6 mos. ago when I purchased his Royal Albert Hall blu-ray and of course was totally blown away. Plans were immediately made to see him in Toronto where my buddy and my 18 yr. old son met Joe and the band and were totally impressed with their humility and friendliness. The show was absolutely off the charts,I still find it hard to believe it took me this long to discover Joe as I'm "north" of 50 and have been into music my whole life with my first love being the guitar. I was never fortunate enough to learn how to play, now I live vicariously through my son who's become quite a player and a drummer. The name spdracer comes from my love of auto racing of all kinds. Thanks again for the warm welcome,I'll be a man of few words as I'm a two finger type artist. Looking forward to seeing Joe again in Oct. in Detroit

Hey rocket, saw the disc on hmv.com,read some reviews on the disc and haven't looked back. If it was possible to wear out the disc it would be worn out. Thanks for the kind words, look forward to staying in contact through the forum
