Topic: Siren was a little too good......

The first time I listened to the Dust Bowl CD was in my car.  I hate to admit this.  When "No Love on the Street" came on ........  I pulled over and started looking for a police car!  My CD system in my car is not that good so whoever did the siren effect did a great job!  It is heck to start getting older fellas.  But, on the bright side, I did not stop and look for a train when "Slow Train" came on........

A cadre of people had the same thing happen from Sloe Gin, especially since it occurred towards the end of the song.

Re: Siren was a little too good......

Scared the crap out of me too... and I was listening in the HOUSE!  Hey, coulda been coming from out in the street, but that doesn't quite explain my brief panic.  Funny how conditioned responses work, haha.  This is coming from a girl with 9 speeding tickets under her belt, plus probably some other reasons to be paranoid.  roll  tongue

Got my wife last week while I was driving.  She kept trying to find the emergency vehicle.  It even got me foe a moment.  Of course same deal with Sloe Gin back in the day.  Funny.

Sure did the same to me. I had traffic stopped at a intersection. Trust me when I say this, no one was happy with me. Never in my life have so many people waved a single finger simultaneously at me before!  hmm

lol It's tough being number 1! Everybody wants a piece of you.  Or out here, is it everybody waves a piece at you???!! Heyyyyy, not always a firearm, sometimes it is just a piece of their mind, which it, ironically, is usually a direct reflection of... The worst is when you KNOW that part by heart and are listening intently and STILL start chewing on your teeth while your hair stands as electric shock attention!  yikes  neutral  tongue
