Topic: Bonaburst arrived

Hi,

My new Bonaburst arrived yesterday and I was able to snap a few photos today.

I think I'm going to call her Ruthie after my rescued/adopted Rottweiler.

Because like Ruthie the guitar is brown and tan in the front and black on the back.  smile   Also the guitar can be warm and mellow but if you really attack it - it will attack back.  wink

I've let it warm up and played it briefly after a quick tuning.  Wow, nice!  The neck is beefy but doesn't get in the way. The fret board feels wonderful and I always know where I am.  The setup out of the box is fantastic with low action and good intonation.

I hope I am worthy.

Congrats!!!!!

Yeah the neck on my Bonaburst is beefy too. When Joe signed mine last year in Wilkes-Barre he commented on the size of the neck. I love it. It's my all time favorite LP!

I don't believe that Wildwood will ship out of the US.  Still, I'm sure with a friend in the US you could arrange something.

Then, of course, there's always VAT and Customs to pay.

That last shot reminded me of my old dog (rip) when I did some pics years ago of my then brand new Erc Clapton Signature model.  Black finish and a big huge slobbery toung licked it.  I was mad at the time but made for a great memory of her.  Enjoy the JBLP bonaburst and I hope you take Joes advice and seriously play it.
