Re: why doesnt joe use right angled jacks?

Funny that you mention the feedback thing. I wasn't aware of that. As loud as Joe plays, you really don't hear him feedback. I figured the plexi shield minimized that.

Re: why doesnt joe use right angled jacks?

I use a Line6 G30, and I don't have that problem. If I'm playing loud enough, it'll do it. And it's especially true if I'm playing with humbuckers.

+1 on the Line 6 G30... I followed Deezer's lead on this one.
I can get feedback on my amp without a cable.

Re: why doesnt joe use right angled jacks?

I never owned a wireless so I couldn't tell you I just know Zakk Wylde said he couldn't get it.  That might have been 10 years ago when I read that but I've been playing for 12.  I guess to each his own.

Re: why doesnt joe use right angled jacks?

There's been a lot of advancements in the last 10 years. The G30 is recent, like the last couple of years. It doesn't go off of radiowaves, so there's no interference. I've had it for a year, and I've never had a point where there was interference.

Re: why doesnt joe use right angled jacks?

Wireless is the way to go.  I too have a Line 6 unit and love it.  Not sure how i lived without it, and actually like the tone better with it than cable.  I do not find the wireless unit any harder to control than a cable.
