This should be pretty good, although I wish they would just put out both discs.

If you have never seen these guys do a cover set, buy this asap. I've caught them a few times in SAC town. Frank Hannon does not get enough cred, he can shred with Joe all night. I didnt read the entire page, but if they tour I'm gone! To bad "Godzilla" is not on there, I had to kill two beers to chill, Hannon was tearing down the house.
Shred
P.S. Dont see them at ARCO ARENA, I'll get banned for sure if I really speak my mind, the place bloooooooows!
I caught their tour last year with Joe opening and they were just amazing. Quite simply one of the best live bands ever ! I went for my B-Day and took my mother and daughter and every generation had a blast !
Hey Brett
I am with you on the live shows. They are such a blast. Glad to hear you had such a wonderful time with your family, Tesla and Joe
For anyone interested, I thought I'd post this in case you wanted something to listen to on May5 at 11pm:
Tesla is the Bone rock artists of the week on 107.7 in the SF Bay area. In addition to kicking off the "live at 5" set with a live Tesla track at 5pm each day this week (when they're also giving away a copy of the new CD Eek!) they will be pulling a live Tesla show from the vault and airing it this Saturday, May 5th at 11pm.
You can catch the concert vault on line at www.1077thebone.com.

Also here's a message from Brian Wheat of the band. It gives further details on how they will distribute the
Cds:
Hello Tesla fans - Brian Wheat here!
We are real proud to announce the "Real to Reel" World tour. For the first time in 15 years we will be playing Europe and plans to go to Japan are in the works. But don't you Americans fret as we will be playing more than the usual stops in America.
In case you don't know, we just started our own record label, "Tesla Electric Company Recordings" or as we like to call it, "TECR." After years of making records and watching record companies not promote them the way the band felt they deserved, we decided to do it ourselves. With the help of the man who discovered us, Tom Zutaut, at the helm, and a very strong team of people at the top of their field, we will be bringing it to you everywhere this year!
Come see us on the road for 2 hours of Tesla hits, songs from Real To Reel, and some various surprises along the way.
Also, we would like you all to welcome the newest member of Tesla, Dave Rude, who is now officially in the band.
You can buy "Real to Reel" on June 5th at all retail outlets, such as your Best Buys, Wal-Marts, K-marts, Targets, and your local record store.
For the US shows only, when you buy a ticket to a Tesla headlining concert, you'll get a free 12 song bonus disc, "Reel 2," that will be available at the show for you to pick up with your ticket stub. As far as Europe and Japan, it's still in the works on how we will distribute this disc.
Anyway, we look forward to seeing you this year!!!
Peace, Love and Flowers.

Hi River Cat!
Where you been!...Did you hear Jeff on the vocals for "thank you", he may not have Robert Plant range, but they sound great. I hope you heard bout May31st cd release at Cezar Chavez Park. I'll be there, may we'll catch up with you.
Shred
Hey Shredit,
How's it going? How's the music in Memphis? I betta you'll have alot of stories to tell, looking forward to hearing them.
I Hope to see you at the CD Release party at Cesar Chavez Park on May 31st. I hope you heard what I heard, that the concert is FREE . It starts at 7pm but you might wanna get there a bit early, especially with downtown parking. I am so looking to be Teslafied!
As a sidenote, do you have The Frank Hannon Band's debut CD "Guitarz from Marz"?

Perhaps neither of us will get banned if I ask the obvious question. Isn't that out in the middle of a cow pasture (looks like it from the freeway)?!
Rock On & Keep the Faith,
Rocket
P.S.-Promote / Support 2 Teslas, the Band, but primarily the Banned (Edison Schmedisonufabich) Nikolai Tesla. Banned? Well did you ever learn of him in school? My dad taught science and didn't know him!!! What a disgrace WRITTEN history has been to his legacy (the technology speaks loudly though).

Shred have you ever heard Frank's old project band Moon Dog Mane? I caught them opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd @ Konocti, once unplugged and once full on electric. They were very southern rock oriented and cut 1 CD which I've got. I'll make sure to pack it for the trip to Reno. I went to the Boardwalk a year ago Dec. to see Joe w/ Frank opening with great anticipation, unfortunately Joe was sick and we had to settle just for Frank. I've never heard anything good when it comes to Arco, I'll take Raley Field on a warm Sacto. night whether it's Rivercats Baseball or a Lynyrd Skynyrd show like last Aug.

I am a huge Joe B. fan, and also a huge Tesla fan. However, I am a little hesitant on the new cd. I am not a big fan of cover albums, I would much rather hear new material, especially from a band like Tesla. I have a great memory of Tesla playing in Lubbock, TX while I was at college in 1986. We went to the show at the Fast and Cool Club and were fortunate enough to hang out after the show with the band and have a few longnecks with the band. Definately a high light. I am looking forward to the tour.

I understand what you mean by covers vs. original material. My preference is original over covers. However whenever Joe does a cover of another song, he makes it his original. Case in point is Jethro Tull's "New Day Yesterday" is so different from Joe's version. It is hard to realize that they are the same song.

Sorry I missed this earlier, to bummed out bout missing the ABB. Memphis is a MUST DO! Had to be over a 100 thousand for the festival.
Yes I know the show is free, think I"ll wear my " Buddy Guy " shirt, it's black with white lettering, polkadots on the guitar.
Yep, I got Franks Cd!
See ya there........Dave
Hey Shredit,
That's a great shirt to be wearin. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for ya. I've been hearing different tracks off the album on the stations here. Hope you have too. Glad to hear them playing it before it comes out.
Good to see the support. They packed the State Fair last year so look for a good turnout. No matter how hot it get's Dave, don't take that shirt off or I won't be able to find you
Take care, The Rivercat
