Topic: In Search of my missing friend

Hey Everybody,
I dont think anybody has noticed yet but on this tour I have been playing my backup Gigliotti Tele.  Well the prototype that Patrick made 5 years ago and has been played for every show and on every record for 5 years is missing.  It was lost in shipping from Denmark on the last tour.  It is very identifiable and if anybody sees it online, for sale or somebody other than me playing it.  Please let us know.  The thing that separates that guitar from the rest is the Tele headstock.  All the other ones have the new headstock..  We have been working through back channels to try to locate it but no luck..  Its the shipping companies fault but Im still very concerned..
Thanks Joe Bonamassa

Must feel like losing a testicle Joe.

Hope it turns up.

Joe (or anyone else),
Is there a pic of what it looks like somewhere?

Man that sucks Joe.  I will add finding your guitar to my prayers, along with those for Bo Diddley.  Hopefully things will work out.

Hey <G>

You're hoping what turns up - the missing guitar or the missing testicle..???!! big_smile

I hope it turns up, Joe - unbelievable how a shipping company can lose something so important..!!

Any problem you can't solve with a good guitar, is either, unsolvable or isn't a problem.

Sorry to hear about your missing friend.  That's terrible.   But, Guitars don't just walk away.  Somebody knows where it is.  Does someone have a good picture of it?

I wear a St. Anthony of Padua charm... I should have put it on loan to Joe in Elgin!  I was hoping that the Gigliotti would have become accounted for by now, and I'm sorry to hear that it has not.  I have a variety of very good, very clear pictures of it from the last few years if anyone would like to take a long look at it.

VINTAGE GUITAR magazine has a section for lost or stolen guitars - might be worth a try.
Good luck Joe.

Jane that was great....

Re: In Search of my missing friend

If everyone would post on whatever musician or equipment forums they participate in the word will get out.

Re: In Search of my missing friend

Maybe web master can post it on the opening page of this site with a missing notice....
