Topic: Hello from Newfoundland, Canada!

New to the forum, just purchased my 1st Joe Bonamassa CD Dust Bowl to "check out what all the hype was about" and was blown away! I first heard JB's stuff of youtube researching Marshall Class 5 amps, saw the two live videos of him playing the Class 5 amps, I have played both of em dozens of times!

Great CD - my favorite so far is Heartbreaker - although they are all really great tunes!

Re: Hello from Newfoundland, Canada!

Welcome to the forum jammers, yeah Dust Bowl is a beast and seems to get better every time I listen. hang around, feel at home and enjoy the company, it's a friendly place. Where abouts are you from?, if you care to share that. Now it's time for Bonabaptism so get to a concert when you can. I hear he puts on a pretty decent show. wink

sorry there Jammers, I missed the Canada thing. we need more of you on board, maybe Joe's playing there now will help.

Jammers, welcome. Another Kanouk.

Great to have you aboard. Honestly though man, I feel for you. Just bought 'Dustbowl'. Blown away. Dude, you have got some serious spending to do. I mean this guy is prodigous on the release front and you have some catching up to do.

Its gonna cost, but hell, it's gonna be worth it.

Been a while, I almost don't know where to start. I mean, you need to get the double live 'Live from Nowhere in Particluar'. It's just the elk's gonads if you know what I mean. Then there is the RAH live DVD, so you can SEE how he does it. Then 'Sloe Gin', 'Blues Deluxe', 'You and Me' (featuring the greatest ever cover of Led Zeppelin's 'Tea for one').

See what I mean. Typing this, I wish I could could go and discover it all over again. You're one lucky ......... (enter forbidden word of choice).

Have a great time here. We are good fun. Self regulating genuinely nice people. Post - tell us what you think.

By the way 'Heartbreaker' great cover. If you haven't heard it though, check out the original. Joe does it massive justice which is some feat because the original Free version is massive too.

No Hits, No Hype.......................Classic Rock Jan 2012
