Topic: Which Les Paul was It?

My wife and I saw Joe last night in Cincinnati.  Outstanding show.  I think I know which Les Paul it is but I wanted to verify it with someone.  The Les Paul that he used on "So It's Like That" and "If Heartaches Were Nickels" had the warmest, singing tone I have heard out of a Les Paul live.  All of his guitars sounded great but this one stood out and was so musical.  Was this an original 59?

Re: Which Les Paul was It?

Those two songs, along with "Steal Your Heart Away" and "The Great Flood" were the songs he played on that guitar when we saw a few shows earlier this month. So, the answer is probably yes.

Same with when I saw him a few weeks ago.

Yeah, he used it for 4 or 5 songs in Davenport.  You could tell it was the real McCoy.  PAF heaven!  The Red Freddy sounded awesome, too!
