Hi All
Just wanted to share my excitement in receiving my new les Paul Custom made to my spec's by the custom shop. it's a long story but the folks at Gibson turned this around in record time in order for me to have it for Joe's show on 3/24/11 (Worcester)for him to sign. I have it and it is in my fat little hands YAHOOO lol . Special thanks to those that made this happen you know who you are.
It plays like no other guitar I have ever had.

Specs:
1960 LP Reissue VOS Butterscotch w/locking Grovers Body & Hardware:
AAA figured maple top
Solid, non-weight relieved mahogany back   
Single-ply cream binding on top
Nickel hardware
Grover locking rotomatics #106C
ABR-1 no-wire bridge w/3 nylon saddles in treble side (like Bonamassa)
Lightweight aluminum stop bar tailpiece
Gold Top Hat knobs
No pickguard (put in case)

Neck & Headstock:
1-piece mahogany neck w/long neck tenon
22 fret rosewood fingerboard
Aged acrylic trapezoid inlays
Single-ply cream binding
1960 slim taper neck profile
24 ¾” scale length, 1-11/16” nut width
Holly headstock veneer

Electronics:
BurstBucker 2 (neck) and BurstBucker 3 (bridge) pickups
CTS pots and bumble bee capacitors
2 volume, 2 tone, 3-way selector switch

Finish
Top – Butterscotch (like Slash AFD LP, no burst)
Back, sides, neck – Reissue Red

I had the strings wrapped around the tail piece and setup to my spec's man this thing is unreal it sings with harmonics and the tone is rich smooth and creamy. I hope I am not dreaming
