Never thought he would play the UK again but he's in Manchester Apollo on 1st July and Hammy Apollo next day so that's me on my travels again.

Don't know yet if it's a solo or band gig but he has written some great songs over the years.

indeed, he has written and performed some classics. I am not a huge fan, like some of it, and don't own any of his music. However, have been told that he puts on a whale of a show. If he comes around here anywheres close I will probably cough up the cash.

Have now heard that he starts the show solo, then a small combo then the full band. That will do me!!

Typical. I fork out for Manchester ticket, train fares and hotel and guess what was announced today? He's playing Glasgow 2 days later!!
