Topic: Forte 3D 212 Vertical Cabinet

I usually get another guitar when I save my money, so this is an exercise in GAS to get away from guitars. I ordered my very own custom made speaker cabinet!

Just found a deal on AMS for the EVM 12L Black Label speakers... usually around $300 - for sale for $208

ordered two!

Also ordered a 2x12 vertical cabinet from here:

The venting on the sides will help push more air and help "fill the room" better.

Re: Forte 3D 212 Vertical Cabinet

They are cool looking cabinets aren't they?  I've been hankering after one for a while now, but unfortunately the cost of shipping one to Australia is about the same as the price of the cabinet itself.   hmm

In fact, John (the owner/builder of Forte Musical) was kind enough to offer to pare down the price of the cabinet to just about cost in order to get one to me at a reasonable cost.  I didn't want him to be out of pocket for my sake though, so I politely declined.  Goes to show that he truly cares about his customers.

I've got a tax refund cheque due though, so I might revisit the Forte cabs again...  wink  Then again, someone might have a JBLP up for sale somewhere by that time...dang!  roll

Just got one of his 1X12 3D cabs and sounds terrific.
