Come on Indiana and surrounding areas, let's sell this show out!  Less than a week to go!

Re: Ft. Wayne, IN 3/15/11

Fantastic show in Ft. Wayne last night!  Hated that the Great Flood was cut but it was still a great set list.  The new drummer Tal did a great job, but to be honest, missed Bogie on a couple of the songs, especially Happier Times.

Noooo!! They cut out Great Flood??  What was it replaced with?

For the Ft. Wayne show and I believe the Milwaukee show, Joe had a guest (contest winner) come up on stage and play.  In both cases they played Further On Up The Road together and then Joe played Blues Deluxe.  Great job on both songs and it was nice hearing something different, but I still hated that the Great Flood was cut!

Re: Ft. Wayne, IN 3/15/11

In addition to saying again what a great show it was in Ft. Wayne this past Tuesday, my wife and I had the pleasure of finally meeting Joe.  He autographed my RAH DVD which gets weekly play in our home!  I was also able to get some friends in to the meet and greet and Joe not only signed my friends Martin, but also played it for a few minutes!  Made the day for my buddy George!  We also had the privilege of helping J&R Adventures by handing out flyers to the crowd coming in.  It was interesting to see the diversity in the crowd and how interested a lot were in learning more about Joe and his music.  I spoke to first timers and those like us who had been to multiple shows.  The excitement level was high with all.  Looking forward to our next show one of these days!

I learned about Joe on Pandora and got Blues Deluxe. After that, I purchased the Royal Albert Hall DVD and have watched it about 50 times. This Tuesday's show was my first time seeing him live. WOW! I will not miss another show. I have been sharing Joe's music with all my friends and have turned a bunch of people into fans. My date to the concert never had a chance to hear a single song before going to the show and she was blown away.

What did Joe mean by

Re: Ft. Wayne, IN 3/15/11

What did Joe mean by it all started here 10 years ago in Ft. Wayne?

If there is a group that helps promote Joe's shows, let me know. I'd love to help. I've turned a ton of people on to Joe's music.

Welcome to the forum IndyRanger. Join the rapidly growing clan of the Bonaholics, as some call themselves. lol You can sign on to the street team to help spread the word. I don't know exactly what he meant but 10 years ago is when he started touring in earnest and recording solo releases. Nice to have you on board, don't be a stranger. smile

Re: Ft. Wayne, IN 3/15/11

I believe what he meant by the "10 years ago" was that in 2001 he played at Piere's, a Ft. Wayne club, where I believe the live CD and DVD Another Day Yesterday was recorded.  You can go to YouTube and find some of the videos from that set, especially If Heartaches Were Nickels.  Both the CD and DVD can be purchased from his web site.
