Topic: New guitar day!

Today I bought my first Les Paul (standard with burstbucker 2 and 3). I've been playing guitar for 25 years, so it's about time!

AND I LOVE IT! I haven't been 100 % happy with my Marshall JVM410, until today! With the Les Paul it came to life and it sounds "right"! The riffs just popped out from the guitar. Red burst color or whatever it's called. It's so beatiful and sounds very nice. Quite some difference compared to my Fenders and Music Man.

I'm so happy and regret that I haven't bought one earlier. But on the bright side: I have a lot of catching up to do, so if you'll excuse me ......

Now I just have to wait for a JTM45 to arrive and then I really should getting into some serious riffing!

Nothing better than a new guitar day except for the day I had today.  I got a new (old) guitar and my wife actually said she would like to go see Joe in concert.  So I am playing a "new" 1988 Fender American Strat  ( and it is a good one, light and resonate) and I have two tickets to see Joe in Cincinnati Saturday night.  Does it get much better than this in the guitar world?
