Topic: CLUTCH anyone?

Anyone here a fan of Clutch? They're not per se a "Blues" band, but they have put out one of the  rock albums of the year in 'From Beale Street To Oblivion,' which mines a lot of 70's hard rock sounds with a pronounced blues influence. The album debuted at #52 on the Billboard Album Charts in its first week of release.

Check out the video for "Electric Worry" the first single released from the album at this location :

Re: CLUTCH anyone?

I love Clutch !  Haven't picked up their new CD yet but sounds like I better put it on my list.

Re: CLUTCH anyone?

Have not got the Clutch disc, but I do have a new disc called Sucking the 70's that features a tune called "Red Hot Mama" by Clutch AND Five Horse Johnson together....the absolute highlight tune on a disc filled w/ really great music.  Will probably pick up the Clutch disc based on this tune.

Re: CLUTCH anyone?

I bought the new CLUTCH cd the day it came out (I heard the song "Electric Worry" on the radio)..........awesome!!! Killer hard rock with guitars and a hammond b-3.

Re: CLUTCH anyone?

Always knew about these guys and actually have the album Blast Tyrrant somewhere.  Should check out the new one because I've heard they've morphed into a rock band with a southern feel.
