I had not heard of Beth Hart prior to this thread.  I spent some time on utube watching/listening.  Jury's still out for me I guess.  Kind of Janis Joplin, throaty, soulful, smoked a little too much kind of voice IMHO.  I visited her website and she has a few tunes from her latest album that you can listen to.  I really, really like her vocal tone and quality on the song "Like You", but I'm not quite ready to jump on the bandwagon.

However, paired with Joe's guitar licks, I think I'm going to like the result.

I have seen Beth a couple of times live, and she's fantastic! She has a wonderful energy and voice. I highly recommend to see her live.

Hi,
I'm new to this board. I'm a huge Beth Hart fan and when I learned that Beth and Joe were collaborating I was so excited. To find out it's an entire album is so great. I can't wait! Joe of course is awesome and I've been a fan of his for quite some time now.

Beth, her husband, band and entire organization are the nicest people. Beth has been through so much in her life and is one of the most down to earth and caring people I've ever met. She has inspired many of us with her music and her willingness to share her story without a filter.

I think this collaboration will be fantastic!

Beth indicated in a recent interview that one of the songs on the Joe/Beth collaboration album will be Chocolate Jesus by Tom Waits. Very cool.  cool

It was a cracking show. Beth is a fantastic singer/songwriter/musician.

Glad you had a good time at the show at the Borderline. I heard Jeff Beck was in the audience. I remember seeing Jeff when Beth was touring with him back in 2006.

Joe tweeted today about the album -

and Beth tweeted...  "Doing a photo shoot with Joe Bonamassa in london on the 30th, should be a lot of fun. The new record f**king ROCKS!"

Wow, so this is my introduction to Beth Hart, thank you very much!  Loved Chocolate Jesus from the Joe/Beth album.   She really does it justice (I love Tom Waits!) and can't wait to hear Joe & Beth's version.  big_smile
