Judging from the attendance and a comment from a friend of mine that I brought to the show in Las Vegas, Joe’s fan base is a bit more refined. So something nice with a cool print across the back shoulders $50 - $75 would be reasonable.
Back in the day Joe would, on occasion, wear a shirt like a gas station attendant's shirt with a "Joe" name patch on it. Always thought it was a cool look, and I always thought it would make for a great merchandising opportunity too. Imagine a venue where half of those in attendance (or more) were all wearing a Joe uniform shirt. Or the potential promotional value. People are way more likely to walk up to you and ask, "Who's Joe?" when you are wearing a shirt like that, vs. just a regular JB t-shirt or something.
Now, getting everyone here on the same page as to what color, style etc. is another thing altogether. The one Joe would wear on occasion was predominantly blue if I recall correctly. Blue and white maybe. I'm sure Sista Jane has one of the photos on her computer somewhere. I think there was a photo of Joe in that shirt on the Pollstar website for several years too.
Anyway if admin agrees this is something that has merit, I think they should simply pick a color and style from a uniform supply store that will give them a decent price, have the Joe patches added, and get them in the store. Nothing else on them either, no JB logos, no extras, just a collared, button-up "Joe" uniform shirt.
