Re: Joe B. Unplugged

I'm sure one day Joe'll sit in somewhere and do an Unplugged TV Recorded show with a small intimate audience like the Nirvana & Bon Jovi ones over the past years, joe on acoustic with maybe the band playing light behind .....  cool

............. Michael

as for the set , well briefly i'd like to see

Sloe Gin
Mountain Time  (already done @ Edmond OK June 2006)
The Great Flood
The River
Burning Hell
Smokestack Lightning   wink
Quarryman's Lament
Cradle Rock
Waiting For Me
Around The Bend   ............ thats a nice 10

Joe Bonamassa .......  His Greatest 3 Videos ... IMMHO   After Much Deliberation
3rd ...... Mountain Time / Rockpalast       http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h01xa6NMsJo
2nd ...... Sloe Gin       /  Vienna            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRASS8O8ZnE
1st ....... Blues Deluxe / The Borderline    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnl3E_KLxYg

That's a good list. The encore should be Ball Peen Hammer...................

I agree with roadshow regarding the encore.  Not sure I'd agree with all your selections, although I do like your instrumental medley idea although I would omit Tamp 'em Up Solid in favor of singing it within your above bunch where I'd rather not see an attempt on one or the other of The River or Bunin' Hell, or both even...although Burnin' Hell COULD be fascinating with bottleneck slide (yeha perhaps The River too, but, nyeah). I'd add Faux Mantini as the show closer IF Joe could pull it off again!!!

Bird on a Wire would be awesome.

If you look up to the heavens just before the start of every Joe Bonamasaa concert you can see Stevie, Jimi, Muddy, Gary and others leaning over God’s railing jockeying for the best view.
And if you listen, you can hear Stevie say  “ SHHhhhh,  The kids about to start playing.”

Re: Joe B. Unplugged

Anybody else think that picture looks like it was taken in the 1960's? Ha!
Not sure if it's the settings, camera or what, but it has that look to me.

After working with a lot of photos taken in not the most optimal lighting, I am thinking that this photo was taken with a point and shoot, flash didn't carry far enough and the photo was dark, then lightened with Photoshop or some other editing software without also adjusting the color and contrast settings..... just my hunch...
