Hey Welcome!  I think Joe has said in the past, that he doesn't usually like to swap pickups, so that is probably what came stock in that particular Esquire (I think it's an Esquire).  BTW, great tone in that show...

Yep I agree that the Esquire.  If you listen to a New Day Yesterday I think that Esquire is all over that album.  I'm most certain that is a stock pickup from the early 60's maybe a late 50's don't know.  If you have the album sleve it says pretty much what every track the equipment he used.
