Pretty sure they are Van Weelden cabs...
Pretty sure they are Van Weelden cabs...
Thought so.
I really liked how the Category 5 cabs looked.....I built a 212 with that colour scheme.
They are definitely Van Weelden cabs. A brand new Van Weelden amp is sitting on the top of them. Cat 5 on that. I've got a lot of video that hasn't been processed from San Diego and I have some good shots of the amps and cabs.

Definitely my favourite cabs...really swish!
Do they look a little on the small side to anyone else? Maybe it's just me..

Well, the previous ones were more prominent, these look just black...
Didn't notice the cabinets so much... Did notice Carmine was having a BLAST!

Joe's cabinets should be made of Gold!
I think he mainly uses the Van Weelden in Europe and uses his other cabs across the pond I believe he has 2 different setups
They're Van Weelden cabs. I hope they're virtually indestructible. Joe's cabs don't seem to last too long. The road really takes it's toll. Or is it because of the hired stage hands?
Love the way JB's slide is somehow attached to the back of the headstock. At least I think thats where its at before he uses it.
Love the new back drop also........looks like a stone wall.....or crumpled tin foil, both cool.
Check the guitar center sessions, where he talks about slide, and the Gibson Prototype that he used there for slide.
He says that a magnet was installed to the back of the headstock and the slide rests on it.
I'd imagine the magnet was either glued or velcroed on.
