Topic: Joe's new double neck

I think its the new Don Felder Hotel California Gibson EDS-1275. I really wish I had a reason for one... looks so cool.

Neck heavy? Or have they changed...

I just see The Song Remains The Same or Hotel California Live....I'm sold.

Impractical....so many flaws, yet absolutely the damn coolest guitars..

Re: Joe's new double neck

here's a recent performance of young mans blues with the double neck... if you notice it has 2 volumes and one tone knob. in the place one one of the knobs is an extra input jack, and the 6 string pickups are uncovered... just like the Don Felder Hotel California EDS-1275

Re: Joe's new double neck

love that video of Young Man blues, great to see a bit of humour, - and 4 guys having a great time. Thank you for posting that.

As for the guitar...

...as for the guitar this damn spam-bot thing eat my post. zzzzzzzzzzzzz  roll

did say something along the lines of preferring the heavier sound of the Explorer for YMB's but who am I to judge, - anything sounds good in Joe's hands!

My YouTube channel with plenty of my Joe's videos dating from 2009 inc his first Hammersmith Odeon ones:

Also the three screw trc like the Don Felder 1275/

Re: Joe's new double neck

Yeah... Thanks to my friend at the Gibson Custom Shop Rick Gembar..  He sent me  Don Felder #075 for the BCC #2 record... Its a awesome guitar... I love the 12 string part of it... Im going for the "I Can See for Miles " tone.... All guitars sound better with two necks. Its the American way..

Re: Joe's new double neck

I saw Don with his original in Knoxville during their Hotel CA tour.  Awesome show, awesome sounding guitar.  Oh yeah, and Don was pretty good, too.    lol

I just wish I had more room in the man-cave to fit one, but dog houses are pretty small, you know.
