Topic: 1999 Bogner XTC

So I haven't been here in a while, but anyway cool story.  So I walk into Guitar Center today and what do they have sitting in the corner behind a bunch of other amps, a 1999 Bogner XTC.  So I plug in and was blown away.  Guess who's a new Bogner owner wink LOL!  3 channles of the ill-est tone ever!  Paired it up with my 100 watt Jubilee and it is heavenly.  Very unique sound.  You can do so much having the 3 distinctive channels.  Very awesome ballsy Marshall sounds... and the clean is very attractive too.  Back to lulliby-ing the neighborhood now smile...

$2,000 after tax... Not too bad, considering you can't get one off of eBay for under $3,000, if you are lucky.... traded in a Lonestar head that I didn't use anymore.  Gave me $600 cash for it.... total sleeper... who thinks to find a gem like that in Guitar Center these days... not aure they even knew what they had LOL

I traded a Bruno underground 30 combo to guitar center for a Gibson acoustic.  I just wasnt using the amp.  I play the crap out of the acoustic.  Best trade i've ever done.  I bought the amp for 1500 and they had the guitar selling for 1750.  So I thought it was a good trade.

Thats awesome Ben. I'm thinking about switching to the 100W club. I have a 20w now, which is OK, but it just doesn't have the sustain and depth of a 100w. You think I'd be able to tame it down to work in my basement?
