Topic: Joe.....I just have to say

Happier times at the RAH.

WOW!!!!!!!!

I know it was a while back....but strangely tonight was the first time I listened to it.

The vocals, to me, were just absolutely perfect.

The whole mood of the song, its just fantastic. I love the vibe of the song!

Need I mention the impeccable guitar playing? I doubt.

Now excuse me while I play it again.

+1 - Loved that rendition.  The haunting drums and exquisite guitar playing really made it...

That and the version of The Great Flood on the RAH DVD are the greatest live performances I've ever seen.

Absolutely perfect moments captured forever.  big_smile

I couldn't agree more.  Joe's tone and phrasing on Great Flood is mesmerizing - as good as any guitar master that's ever been out there - IMO.

For me, it is the second line of 'Just Got Paid' on 'Live from Nowhere in Particular' when he plays the D down to the A chords - the tone of those chords just makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!!!  cool

I agree with you 100% there! big_smile

Also..I like when he sings 'like a devil race car...' on Lonesome Road Blues - so catchy wink

Finally...Sloe Gin at the Royal Albert Hall - few seconds into the solo where he hits that bend..then bends it up even further...gets me everytime! lol
