Topic: for all you tele lovers...

Hey guys,
Found this website (see below) for a custom builder out of Wisconsin. He specializes in tele style guitars, and his prices are nice, especially for a hand made instrument. I wanna have him do an esquire for me. We also share the same name. big_smile  big_smile  I've gotta buy one now!

I just put in my order literally 5 minutes ago. I gave him 100% creative license, but I do want cigarettes in the neck pickup cavity and wire cavity, just like Billy Gibbons. I dont know what kind of wood, or what kind of electronics it's going to have, I just told him what kind of music I play and to use his professional opinion. I think custom guitars turn out better that way when the builders are able to use their brains. I really cant wait. should have it in 4-6 weeks!

Is that the Billy Gibbons Tele that I see on the sales ad with Joe Satriani???  I saw it had a butt in the place of the neck pickup, and some kind of a Seymour duncan bridge humbucker strat sized pickup.  Looks like a "smoking" guitar.  tongue

I think im gonna call up my tattoo artist to put some original art work on it. I wanna put a sugar skull on it (google if you don't know what that is). My question is, should I have him wood burn it on, or should I have him paint it on?
