What a show! GPN is so much more than meets the eye. Yeah, she is gorgeous and sexy but man oh man is she a performer! We were blown away. Her band is as tight as a bongo drum's head and the overall presentation is excellent. It was LOUD! our ears are still ringing.  A bit of vid later but I started dancing by the end of the 2nd song and so much for video. Our view was good for the eye but bad for camera, above to the side and the place was pretty dark. The show was way too good to waste taking pictures. GPN has so much energy it is hard to see how they last to the end. 2+ hours with a tiny break before the encore of Medicine(extended with drum fest) and the If I Were In Paris finale. I have no idea of the set list since I'm unfamiliar with most of their music. She sang Water acapella with a tambourine mid set and brought down the house. What a powerful presentation, just spellbinding.

Fashion report ladies: Black skimpy dress with black strap 6" stilettos  with fringy stuff on the ankle strap. In fact, the whole band was in black. Edit: The wife said the heels looked Italian and expensive! I know zip for ladies shoes, but they looked smashing on Grace!
I'll work on the vids over the weekend and see what I got. If she and her band come near, DO IT!

I just happened to run across this just now... not sure if it's been posted here before or not... it's Cortez the Killer being covered by Grace Potter, Joe Satriani, Steve Kimock, Reed Mathis, Willy Waldman and Stephen Perkins at the 2007 Jammy's.  Quite different sounding, with a trumpet, but very powerful and beautiful... and it keeps getting better as it goes......

I know I've posted this here at least once and probably more frequently on FB during my serious Grace ga-ga phase last year.  tongue  (I've managed to slightly tone that down of late....)
