Topic: Now that's what I call a pedal board!

It takes a few mins to download, but the craftsmanship and quality is jaw dropping.

Wow!

Pete Cornish does very nice work.

I bet it weighs a ton though. It's kind of interesting to compare the Cornish way with how Bradshaw does it. Individual pedals vs integrated multi-effects.

You can also do that with Pete- check out my pedal board on the pedalboard thread.

Re weight- Gilmour can afford to have poor people carrying on a jewelled sedan chair, I suspect!!

Any chance of a Jimmy Page set, pretty please?!

My eyes are filled with tears (happy ones that is!). Suddently I went back in time to the great tone-period of Mr. Gilmour...

I heard somewhere on the vine that a board like Gilmour or Page...you're looking at 10k upwards. English pounds too.

Seemingly David's cost c. $100k (£60k). But it's difficult to gauge as parts of it were re-used from other older boards (rack and stuff).

A friend of mine who does Pete's website got a very close version but without tube buffers (solid state ones) for $30k.

It took Pete about 4 months solid work to build.

The only downside of boards like that is if something DOES go wrong.....although Pete builds each circuit to be isolated in case of failure.
