Topic: Oli Brown, USA, Europe and the UK

Hi
I think I messed up when I left the first message, so my apologies if this turns up twice!

First of all, thank you to all the JB Forum people for all their support for Oli Brown, we appreciate it very much..

Just wanted to let you know that we now have an American Booking agency working with Oli, they are called ENTOURAGE and they have people like Dereck Trucks, Susan Tedechi and Joe Satriani on their books, so this is a great thrill to be with that team.

Entourage are working on sorting a US tour out for Oli later this year, so I will let you know how we get on.

Oli starts his European tour on Wednesday (3 February) in Bremen and we are looking forward to seeing a lot of old friends that we met last time we were there and, hopefully, making some new ones.

When we get back to England at the end of February, we have a short run of school gigs and then start a UK tour 1 April.

All the details of Oli's gigs are on his website, www.olibrownband.co.uk.

Thanks again for everything and we hope to see you sometime this year.

Hi Graham,

I was beginning to wonder whether I was imagining things this morning as your earlier post was there one minute and gone the next!  yikes  I did, however, have long enough to read it and add the Boom Boom and Jazz Cafe dates to the London Gig Guide.

See you at the Jazz Cafe again.  big_smile

I'll be seeing you in Harderwijk on Feb. 20. If you have any spare time, get there early and check out the dolphins.  wink

Re: Oli Brown, USA, Europe and the UK

That's fantastic news Graham. I'm hoping that they will get Oli scheduled as a support act for many of this summer's  upcoming festivals. That would be a great way to get him out there in front of folks who don't know him yet. I'm so glad that he will be be touring in the USA. I for one look forward to seeing him perform live. Those youtube videos only go so far!  big_smile

Yes, that is GREAT news!  I would love to see Oli live in the states.

Good Luck & safe travels on the tour!   smile

Anyone else coming this Sunday? It's a late afternoon gig, so you could make it a day out and include the dolphins.  wink

Just let me know where and when Graham and I'll be there!

By the way, you can nominate Oli for the British Blues Awards 2011 by following this link: http://www.britishbluesawards.co.uk/nominations.htm

You might even want to put the name "Joe Bonamassa" in the slot for overseas artist! wink  cool

It's always the same, good concerts at the same date.
I'll be at the "Bosuil in Weert, NL" to see Aynsley Lister. Only chance to see him.

Have seen that Oli has a new bass player:

Not bad.

Though his former player Roger Innis was great, too.

Both have their own style.

Re: Oli Brown, USA, Europe and the UK

There are still a few opportunities to see Oli in the Benelux!

Thu 24         Handelsbeurs, Gent     BEL
Fri 25         Spirit of 66, Verviers     BEL
Sat 26         Borderline, Diest     BEL
Sun 27         De Witte Bal, Assen     NL

I was disappointed by last night's turnout in Harderwijk, but not by the music! Here's your starter, more to come.
