Topic: PRS SR ONE Korina

I've loved the looks of the SE One for years now and was checking out the Korina body last night.  Does anybody have an opinion about these guitars?  I know people hate that it has no Tone control but that doesn't bother me oh and its very mid range sound.  Kind of thought that would make it sound good for ZZ Top or something like Moutain.  Its either this or the Banjo I swear.

Re: PRS SR ONE Korina

one could likely wire a tone pot without drilling by using a dual concentric potentiometer.

Re: PRS SR ONE Korina

True because I had a Nashville Telecaster with a Fishman acoustic Bridge that had Volume and tone together.

Re: PRS SR ONE Korina

I've always fancied an SE one. they don't do them anymore but a great alternative to a les paul junior.

Re: PRS SR ONE Korina

They do make them again.  They are Kornia wood.  Cost $485 Musicians Friend.
