Topic: Roseanne mentions Joe last night on Craig Ferguson.

I was watching the Late Late Show last night...Roseanne Barr was on.  She was talking about her kid's album and how some of the people that were in the band have been doing very well, and she mentioned Joe.

Pretty cool, when I turned it on, it was certainly the last name I thought I would hear.  The full episode isn't up yet, but should be in a few days.

No matter how well you know someone, you can only ever guess.  How can you ever really know somebody else? It takes more than a lifetime just to get to know yourself.  Nobody knows the meaning of loneliness.  - Van Morrison

Thanks Chris for making my less than perfect day a Joe-day!  If anyone can post the show so we could see that would be really lovely.

Barr someone posting a little clip (pardon the pun), what did she have to say, Chris? Paraphrasing if you need to of course.
It was bad enough missing the football game...This I was actually in a position to see but went to dreamland instead...

My wife told me about the show this morning, I thought she was joking.  Don't know how she saw it and I didn't.....

Here's the clip.  Around the 7 minute mark she mentions Joe, also gives him a mention on her web site.  Apparently she cut a kid's album (imagine that) back in 1990, and Joe was one of the guitarists on the recordings.  Age 12, maybe?  Anyway, Roseanne apparently is a fan, and has taken relatives to see a JB concert in San Francisco.

ok i watched a couple times and i didn't hear her say 1990 but it was late and i could have missed that. she did do a cd in 1990 but i don't think it was a kid's cd. in 2006 she did release a kid's dvd and i am thinking maybe that is it? At first I thought she might have also have appeared on either Get Down with the Clown or A T-rex Named Sue , both of which Joe is on a song on. but i didn't see her in any credits (looking online, my personal copies were not handy although i did just score another bozo cd on ebay) so maybe it was her Rockin with Roseanne dvd. there are a couple clips on youtube
here's one

The 1990 date was my mistake.  When I searched online for a Roseanne Barr CD, that's the only one I found listed, should have looked further I guess.  It certainly makes sense that it would be the newer DVD rather than something from 1990.  She did say she sang on the Late Late Show, which Craig Ferguson has hosted since 2005.  Now if Joe backed her up for the performance on The Late Late Show, that would be a neat clip to see.

That was kind of neat watching that.
I was wondering about the gloves though.
Kewl that she mentioned Joe (:

She mentioned Joe even after being slightly interrupted by Craig Ferguson with his usual slightly funny interupting antics.  Good on her.

Now I'm wondering what the name of the album was? Haven't been able to find anything online.

Re: Roseanne mentions Joe last night on Craig Ferguson.

I'd love to see him on the Fallon show. Fallon adores music so that would make sense. Maybe I could write to Jimmy?

That's a great idea we all should write in to get him on. Cheers Ron

Yah, what the hell....out of all the talk show hosts Fallon would be the one I think since he adores music and plays himself.

I tweeted Jimmy about him wink

Re: Roseanne mentions Joe last night on Craig Ferguson.

I'd rather see Jimmy at a Joe concert, and I don't mean Rock Candy Funk Party at the Baked Potato (but that could happen, easier than Joe on the air...trust me).  I mean Joe Bonamassa or Beth Hart with Joe Bonamassa.  My opinion is, I'd rather see Beth-Joe on Jimmy Fallon (more than Beth with RCFP at the Baked Potato, although reality is, sequel desires)! big_smile

Joe B alone???!!! Sure, anywhere...... cool

Not to mention the PR it would bring if it happened. Fallon has that magic 18-49 age group that everyone wants to attract. Oh well.....
