Welcome ACF. There is a lot for players here in the gear section. Feel free to join us in the other sections as well. What led to you buying the DVD?

Thanks for the welcome Rick. As far as what led me to buy the RAH DVD, theres a few answers. First as a 52 year old and a lifetime Clapton fan anything at the Albert Hall is interesting. Second (these are in no order of importance) I had just purchased John Henry and Black Rock after reading about Joe in GP mag. so I figured why not watch him live. Last but not least its a great way to pick up Guitar playing tips!

Great. I gather you have yet to attend a live performance. All his recorded work pales in comparison. Seeing him live is unforgettable, especially for players.

Re: Hello from Jersey.

Welcome aboard ACF.  Jersey girl here!  wink  What area of New jersey are you from?  I live in South Jersey, Burlington County close to Philly.

Did you attend the Clapton/Winwood concert at Madison Square Garden in February 2009? My hubby and I were there on the Tuesday night performance. (2nd show)  My husband is a guitar player and first discovered Joe in Guitar One magazine. He favors Joe's first 2 albums, which goes along with what Joe had released at the time. I highly recommend you purchase Joe's entire catalog, but if you want just 1 from the back, back catalog, get So It's Like That.  Try to get the edition that has the DVD included, which is the live performance of A New Day Yesterday. (disregard the dancing girls, they came with the venue and even most of the guys think they are annoying)

You should check out Bill's site. I just realized I never posted anything here. Bill lives in N. Jersey.  http://www.jbonamassa.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=12199

Have fun uncovering Joe, you are in for a really fun ride, this is backed by my 100% guarantee!  smile

Re: Hello from Jersey.

Thanks for the welcome Angela. I live in Northern Jersey. No haven't attended any of EC's concerts lately. Not to fond of being in big place's with big crowds these days. As a hobbie Guitar player I am thankfull for Joe's honest approach to his fans.
