Topic: tears

Ofcourse I listened to Joe ...... but for the first time since SRV ( I'm one of those lucky guys who saw him live for two times) left the building I cried when I heard Joe playing in the Royal Albert Hall. That's what I want, that's how it has to be played. Joe.......... Super!!!!!!!!!!! You made me cry while I'm happy! And that feels great.

Re: tears

Welcome motnamol. I assume from your post you have yet to hear him live.  lol You've only scratched the surface. Now dig in and catch up.

I was there and he made me cry too! We understand. MANY are your age and know exactly what you mean regarding the post SRV time. It's like being given a second chance to witness a very special talent.  Get to a show!! The RAH is the biggest, but every live show is amazing, and I'm always touched. Touching!  Yes you HAVE heard him live, you HAVE seen him live, but from much experience, it is even better to bear "live, local, late breaking" witness in any building or outdoor location you can be in real time connection with Joe Bonamassa's playing.  THEN you really get not only that that's how it has to be played, it IS how it is played, and he gives you what you want.
No worries!  Cheer UP!  big_smile

Re: tears

Nice. Well I haven't seen Joe live, in fact I have just discovered Joe, but as my intro post reflects I too have not teared up in a while, until I heard Joe's playing...
