Topic: Contact With Joe

Hi!
I was just wondering does Joe look in here every once and then?
Im a 12 year old boy from sweden and I completley love his guitar work, I've played guitar for about a year and I love to play lots of his songs. I was just wondering is he like impossible to talk to or is he like open to fans?
Because I would be so grateful if he just said hi to me

Joe visits the forum, and replies to fan's questions a good deal of the time... he is very open to his fans, very generous and a really nice guy. 

When he's touring it seems like he doesn't post as much, but if you keep posting, you'll have a good chance of getting a reply...

Of course, I can't guarantee this, but it has been my observation on this forum that Joe is very good about responding and checking in with all of us... so good luck!!

Oh dear lord that would be like a massive dream come true, he is so brilliant.
Um if he feels like replying, I want to try to playe some slide, so I was wondering, what kind of material is his slide made of ? (the one from cradle rock) Thanks

Hey!
Im a 13 year old girl and I play guitar too! I play alot of Joe's songs. I've met him about 4 times. He's really a great guy. He checks in every once in a while. Im sure you will get a word in with him soon.
I've been playing for 2 years and im loving it! Keep rockin'

How cool to have met him, I probably would not be able to meet him in the real life, because I'm from Sweden, and if he would ever come he would probably play in on of theese 18 year old bars, maybe I could catch him on the way out then, but then I would look like a crazed fan...21

I would love it if you please told Joe that he was my favorite guitar player and always will be. also, tell him that he inspires me so much. I know he hears that all the time, but when I try to talk to him, I freeze up and dont know what to say. so, please please please tell him that, if you dont mind.

Dno, im a rockblues person.
I play that and rock, i can play more but those are my favourites, I don't really think anything got me interested, its more like Im a rock blues player in all.

no one was there to chat although Joe was logged onto this forum for some time...your slide and equipment questions should be directed to the Joe's Guitars, Amps, & Gear section...I can't be sure, but I think he commented on his slide once on his older format forum.
