Newbie here, been a fan of Joe's for a while but never been to a show, got hooked up today for Anaheim 2nd row on the center aisle!!

Hi Front Row Fred. Oh, man, are you in for a good time. Enjoy the show, and be sure to post your tale hear afterwards. This is a great group of people. I've only been around on here for a short time, but they've all made me feel welcome. Some of us even got together for diner before a show so we could put faces with names. It was fun. You should think about it before your show, i.e., the night you lose your virginity. (See the Bonamassaglossary for explanation.)

OK I must admint that I was not a huge fan of Joe's meaning I never owned an album, I heard him a lot as I have XM radio and they do play him on the Blues and deep track stations, but when I heard he was playing here in my town, at my favorite venue I nabbed a pair of second row seats.
Since then I've been downloading shows and buying DVDs. Man can this guy play, he is fast becoming one of my all time favs.
What I'm realy enjoying is the difference in songs from show to show, yeah it might be the same set list but each night he brings something different to each tune. This to me is proof he really is a master, I've been to over 200 concerts, many of them from the front row or close to it, I can really only think of one player who adds "spice" to each night he plays and that's Jeff Beck.
I've seen Eric Clapton 16 times and although there is some changes tour to tour, the shows themselves are the same night after night. David Gilmour does this as well, although some folks prefer that "sounds just like the album" sound, I like the raw, get down and dirty, play it from your heart approach Joe brings to his shows.
I'm really looking forward to my first show, and to all the tapers out there thanks and keep em coming!
