Promised myself an Aum tattoo on the inside of my left forearm.....my Christmas prezzie to me.
A long time ago when my children were little, I was going to a have a small heart tattoo with their initials inside of it put either on my arm or chest. However, because I give blood and my type is one that they like to receive, I decided not to do it. The form that you fill out to give always asks if you've had a medical procedure or have gotten a tattoo since the last time you gave. When I had a cervical disk removed, I had to wait one year to give blood due to the fact that I received someone else's (cadaver) bone as a replacement. The wait time was for obvious reasons insuring that the bone wasn't infected some how with the AIDS virus.
Guys and Girls, especially young ones in particular, whatever you do do not have your girlfriend or boyfriend's name or initials imprinted on your body. I've seen too many people who sure regretted they did it after the couple spilt up. Words of wisdom from an old man.

Ever see tattoos on saggy, wrinkled, mottled flesh???

I have 3 tattoos. Tribal and barb wire around one arm, a black rose on the other upper arm and on one ankle a black heart with a banner that reads Hardcore. I do not regret any of them. Have thought recently of getting one or both arms sleeved but have not come up with any designs that get me excited yet.
Rev, is the Black Rose for Philip L.?
I love good ink, and I don't have as many as I eventually will.

No but that album may have been in the back of my mind.
I saw a shipmate get a large one overseas on liberty. He had a massive infection from it and nearly died. Never had the urge after that. I am a blood donor too with a fairly uncommon type and am on call for donations as well.
