Topic: Travel Tips From the Bonamasses?
I was talking to a friend the other day about Bogie leaving Joe's band, and the conversation turned to how hard it must be to live on the road, touring constantly, year after year. Bogie had his fill, but after 20 years Joe shows no signs of letting up (fortunately). Which made me think, I'll bet he has a lot of little nuggets of diamonds in the rough, places in the states and around the world that left a mark on him, that have been oases on his travels that he has returned to again and again. I'd love to hear some of those secrets!
But alas, I'm sure he's too busy making music to ever put together a travelogue. So then I thought, he has fans spread out all over the world, too, who collectively know about lots of out-of-the-way special places.
So how about it, Bonamaniacs? Do you have any travel secrets? Local attractions unspoiled by tourism, or superb hotels, eateries or pubs?
