Nice Mac!!

Too bad, with all guitars players on this forum, surprised if nto anything more noodles, etc would have kept a post like this alive and healthy.  Sorry for duplicate, didn't see other thread.

Re: GUITAR NOODLE THREAD ~ POST YOUR MUSIC HERE!!

You asked for it..

Here is a link on soundclick to 10 gallons of Noodles- these are mostly demos of different amps- Goofy, stoner (yet funny) dialogue on some of these.

Oh- and yes, I gig most all of these amps (from Joe's thread about gigging expensive amps) The RedPlate has moved on down the line though..

Re: GUITAR NOODLE THREAD ~ POST YOUR MUSIC HERE!!

Well, I think this forum is far smaller than other like mylespaul, tgp and so on, so it may take a while for threads like this to really catch on.  I think they do provide a good "service" however.  After all are we not brethren in music?

Here's a brand new clip of a Tonic Vapour. This is a Clone of a EL-34 based TrainWreck Express.

Guitar---->Amp---->Cab

No effects- straight in.

Danny Gatton Tele with Joe Barden pickups.

I sent a note to Lance Keltner that I am certain his Solid State RetroWreck just won't get this feel..

Great to hear some of you guys' music.  Here's an couple clips of one of my previous bands at 2000 Taste of Chicago (I'm playing the tele):
"Vehicle": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kv7Cv8kUmng
"Dolly Dagger": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mK4M_byeYkk

Here's a more recent solo effort, a laid-back blues I wrote on my resonator and then electrified called "Midnight Blues":

Yes. Very nice.
How did you record this? I like the room sound...you can hear how the amp really is (in comparison to your voice) and it's not over-driving the mic.

Re: GUITAR NOODLE THREAD ~ POST YOUR MUSIC HERE!!

Only just noticed this thread and it was timely as someone just sent me some live takes of an outdoor gig we did in May.

Had no idea there was a recording, or they were recording, and I have no idea how it was done, possibly straight off the desk.

I believe in sharing your failures as well as your successes (too few to mention) so here's one of the former. I think Ad3Three posted once about the foolhardiness of playing drunk. This gig was a case in point. We were a last minute addition to the bill and we were shuffled up the order because of one thing and another. We had a friend driving the bus and back stage hospitality was excellent - 'nuff said.

Of the 8 tracks I was sent all contain major alcohol induced cock-ups of one sort or another, but the show must go on and we can look back and laugh about it now. This has a pretty dodgy start as one of the guitarists is doubled up laughing and misses his cue...............

This is the link anyway - it's not a vid just an mp3 uploaded as a wmv file thank god. Film of this gig would have been too awful, believe me, I've seen the stills.

Oh yes the guitars - both Les Paul RI's playing through VHT / Marshall combo's
