Topic: Rivera Quiana 212 or Fandango 212

Is anyone familiar with Rivera amps? I'm looking into possibly purchasing a used Quiana or a Fandango 212. Can someone familiar with them elaborate as to any pros or cons about these to combos? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

The Q is a great amp...played a 100w head for a while. Same old quotes: Fender cleans, and it roars like a Marshall when turned up...
Good build quality, heavy duty mil-grade PCB amps.

I am just for a more vintage 'of its own' type amp - but this by no means a bad amp...very nice...and you can pick up some amazing deals on them.

I played a Quiana once and remembered really liking it.  It was very warm and sustainy.  I remember it being more than I was looking to pay for at the time though!

'67 and '74 Fender Twin Reverbs, '74 Marshall 1987 lead mkII, Metro Superlead 100. Pedals from TC Electronic, Ibanez, Dunlop, BK Butler, Electro-Harmonix, Fulltone, Maestro/Gibson, Loopmaster switching, VoodooLab, Boss. Gibson and Fender guitars, Dimarzio pickups.

Rivera is pretty much all I use. I've owned the 100watt knucklehead and the R55-112 combo.
Channel 1 is Marshally and Channel 2 is Fendery. Both have their own respective gain/boost.
I like them a lot, and for the money (which isn't cheap) I haven't heard better that can do as much.

Thanks all. That's pretty much what I've been hearing elsewhere. I would like to dial in other tones other than just Marshall or Fender however. I need to find one local to try out before I buy. Prices I've seen aren't cheap.
