Saturday 27th Live At Blues At The FArm Barleylands Rd Billericay Esex 2pm-4.30pm

I'm looking forward to all of this stiff as I believe this band are one of the best finds of the year, brilliant musicians with a unique sound based around Dobro and Hammond Organ,

24 Pesos put on a crackin' show last night despite the small audience. All those who did go had a great time - we were singing along like there were 100+ of us

24 Pesos won the South East section of the New Brunswick Battle Of The Blues Bands last night at the New Crawdaddy in Essex. They now go forward to the final to join the likes of Cherry Lee Mewis at 100 Club on March 29th where the winner will play the Harvest Festival in Canada in September.

After a strong 6 act line up, the Pesos were worthy winners just oozing class. The two runners up from this heat are Kat & Co and Ben Poole Band.

Special mention for the only solo act Mississippi MacDonald, who I thought was exceptional and deserves to get some gigs , he is based in South London and this guy can play. http://www.myspace.com/mississippimacdonald

24 Pesos won the New Brunswick Blues band Final @ 100 Club last night with a storming set. Special mention for Cherry Lee Mewis who was a shining star with a great future. Making a guest appearance a a judge , Matt Andersen put on a performance to show everyone there what I have been saying about this guy for a couple of years, he is just brilliant.

The Pesos now go on to play the Harvest Jazz n Blues Festival in New Brunswick in September as UK's sole reprentative.
