Topic: Durham, NC show at the DPAC

The show had the usual set list. Joe came out on time and proceeded to shred. Except for the encore, Joe did not take a break. The crowd was really into the show. This was evident as there were many cat calls and someone in the crowd shouted that the audience was not worthy during the song Woke Up This Morning. The way Joe was playing I would have to agree with them and I would not have been surprised if the strings of Joes guitar started smoking.

He is such a technical musician it is a real pleasure to listen to him play. I would have liked to have heard Blue and Evil from the new album, but with so much material there is no way he can play everything. Thanks Joe and I hope you come back soon.

PS Let's hear from others that were at the Durham show and let me hear what you thought about the show.

Re: Durham, NC show at the DPAC

Joe was unbelievable as usual but I was very disappointed with the acoustics.  Sat 4th row center and all the sound was behind us.  Joes guitar and voice sounded like background music. A monitor or two on the stage probably would have helped with the up close audio issues. Great night still.

Thanks Joe for signing my Crossroads litho!!
