The analog delay sounds very nice.  I wanted to pick up a plexi drive, seen them at guitar shows, but I don't see the point in paying that much money for an OD pedal.  I've never heard anything negative concerning them, just buy one and be done with it!!  Then again, I never thought I'd drop the cash on a Fulltone SupaTrem..but I did.  To be honest, I have to be in the right mood to make certain purchases, sometimes I can justify them by whatever weird means my mind comes up with!  -Seth

Re: Wampler pedals

Had his Pinnacle 2.  Great build, great tone, sold it because i was tired of finding "amps in a pedal".

Re: Wampler pedals

I would like to try the Faux Tape delay...sounds cool on demos.

Re: Wampler pedals

I am a little late on this topic but I have a Wampler Ecstacy and it is a very good drive pedal.  It is a smooth pedal with a three way toggle in which the voicings I believe are Dumble, Boost, and Bogner.  I prefer the Bogner setting.  This pedal will crunch when you turn your guitar volume down, and then it will sing when you bring the volume up.

Re: Wampler pedals

I hear that Brad Paisley has his own signature overdrive from Wampler now, reasonably priced too.  It's got blue paisley graphics....too cool!  From what I've heard on the Wampler website it reminds me a lot of a cranked Vox or Dr. Z in a pedal form.  I'd be interested to try that one or perhaps the Ecstacy.  Brian makes some cool stuff for sure!
