I would actually buy a guitar if it was Snoop's. I'm definitely a blues guy, but I do like a lot of Snoop's rap...I hate that the Jonas bros have a "JB logo"....

This was discussed on the les paul forums. Many said that they'd buy it if it were not for the jonas brothers link.
It's an ok looking guitar, shame about the artist it's associated with.
Maybe I'm alone here, but when I think of GUITAR, I think: Jonas Brothers. Maybe Premier Guitar will do a "rig rundown" with them next..my fingers are crossed!! -Seth Is my sarcasm too obvious?

C'mon guys, give Gibson a break...
Gibson is just doing what it's supposed to do...trying to sell guitars, and make a profit,
They are covering the whole spectrum from low end to high end,
Eric Clapton / Joe Bonamassa to Jonas Bros or Barbie and Ken
So the flavor of the month is a Jonas Bros Melody Maker...who cares?
This is the Free Enterprise system...they don't owe anybody an explanation or excuse
other than their shareholders...bottom line it's called CAPITALISM
They have to continue to roll out new products to keep the money machine rolling
or CEO's get replaced and companies go under.
Don't get so down trodden...You / We can still find GREAT Examples of the Gibson
guitars we all love, and used to know, new and used.
I would argue that Gibson is making some of it's best guitars ever today...
and maybe some not so great ,and you as a consumer have a choice...
If you don't like the product..then, Don't buy them!
That's how a free market works...ultimately, the consumer makes the choice as to
what lives or dies.
If they weren't exploring new avenues...we would have never seen a Joe Bonamassa
LP. or the Epi JB LP.
