Topic: Joe concert

Okay, international fans of Joe! There has to be somebody out there reading this forum in a country that Joe hasn't performed in. The first one who fits that criteria and responds to this post, gets a free concert of Joe. I have posted this offer several times and never received a reply. Maybe this will be the one?

Re: Joe concert

That is way cool an offer, David.

Here I sit, wishing that I could have more local shows when there are many who have never been able to experience Joe live, yet remain die hard fans! who deserve to at least hear a live performance.

Hats off to you!

bonzo,
Just click on that e-mail link that is under my name and send me your address and I will get it right out to you.

Re: Joe concert

I don't think Joe has been to Australia before. Or at least not since I've been aware of him.... boo hoo We don't have much of a blues rock scene or any inspirational guitarists, so sad!

Re: Joe concert

I know Joe has played in the UK, but never in Ireland (N or S).  We flew over to the USA to see him - then relocated here (just for a little more Joe?).

I know he would be LOVED in Dublin & Belfast - you haven't lived until you've been to Temple Bar!

Re: Joe concert

Not only is Rob Tognoni from Australia, but so is Dave Hole. I recently saw a great blues fest there that I'd love to attend, but even though Down Under's been on the top of my travel list for many years, I'm a long way from realizing that dream anytime soon.

The blues isn't about a look or a specific sound, the blues is something deep within. But the sound doesn't hurt things, you know? ~ Ben Hernandez

Re: Joe concert

I saw Dave Hole last year.

Chatted with a fella after the show, he told me that Dave used to play slide with his pinky finger, but broke it years ago playing soccer.  Now plays slide with index finger over top of the neck.

For the most part.  I do live on higher ground, so to speak.  Most of the flooding in my town is two blocks from my house.  It is more of a traffic nightmare, for me.  Others I know have five inches to six feet of water in their homes.  I did post some pictures...

Thanks for asking, Rocket.  Hope to see you soon...Mohegan Sun, perhaps?

Good to hear that, bonzo. Spread the word and someday Joe may play there.
